Siempre disfruto rodando, pero son pocas las veces que he sentido con seguridad que un rodaje lo recordaría toda la vida. Voice Over ha sido una de estas ocasiones. He disfrutado cada instante y las imágenes y recuerdos de este rodaje las conservaré para siempre.

Last weekend I was in Canada, scouting for a new, fresh and exciting project. We cannot say much about it right now, but in not too long we’ll be able to start giving some details about it. We look forward of shooting in Toronto; an amazing city with a unique atmosphere.

Este fin de semana estuve en Canadá, localizando para un nuevo proyecto que nos tiene enamorados. No se puede adelantar mucho, pero esperamos que en no demasiado tiempo podamos dar detalles. Estamos deseando rodar en Toronto, una ciudad alucinante con una atmósfera única.

Chano Alvarez is the head and heart of Volcano Films, probably the best production company in the Canary Islands. We were with him in Tenerife and it was amazing to discover the locations of the island together. Chano has produced many commercials and films like Caotica Ana by Julio Medem; Intacto or Linked by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. With the last one they got the nomination to the Oscar Award. It is a honor having Chano as a co-producer of Voice Over. If you have to shoot in the Islands, Chano is [with no doubts] your best option.

Chano Álvarez es la cabeza y corazón de Volcano Films, posiblemente la productora más importante en las Islas Canarias. Estuvimos con él en Tenerife la semana pasada y fue increible descubrir de su mano las localizaciones impresionantes que tiene la isla. Chano ha participado [además de mil anuncios] en producciones como Caótica Ana de Julio Medem, Intacto y Esposados de Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. Con este último estuvieron nominados al Oscar. Es una gozada tener a Chano como co-productor de Voice Over. Si hay que rodar en las islas, Chano es tu seguro de vida.

We just came back from Tenerife where we have been scouting for the shooting of our next project. We met great people who love making movies and a wonderful island to shoot. Many different and spectacular locations. An outstanding value for your film. We are just in love of Tenerife…

Acabamos de volver de localizar en Tenerife, donde rodaremos nuestro próximo proyecto. Conocimos gente increíble y descubrimos una isla impresionante para rodar. Tiene un montón de localizaciones super diferentes y muy espectaculares que pueden añadir un valor extra a tu producción. La verdad es que hemos vuelto totalmente enamorados de Tenerife…

Last week my friends proposed me to make a cameo on a TV Commercial in the US. Everyone on the set referred to the actors as “The Talent” (Where is the talent? Did the talent eat? and so on). I could not stop laughing every time that someone call me that way. Really fun!!!

La semana pasada unos amigos me propusieron hacer un cameo en un anuncio para la televisión americana. Lo curioso es que aquí todo el mundo se refiere a los actores como “El Talento”, y yo me moría de risa cada vez que alguien me preguntaba algo llamándome por ese nombre. Muy divertido!!!

A very good friend of mine, Rodrigo Ruiz-Tarazona, invited me to the shooting of the TV series “Los Protegidos“. After its great success in Antena 3, they decided to shoot the first chapter of the second season in 3D, and it will be release in Theaters as well as in the TV.

It was amazing being there and watch the result in the 3D monitor! They are using the D4D technology, and with the participation of David Urdanoz, one of the Masters and pioneers of the 3D in Europe. They made me feel very comfortable there, and besides, I learnt a lot with that 3D Masterclass. Thanks guys. You rock!

Un buen amigo, Rodrigo Ruiz-Tarazona, me invitó a visitar el rodaje de “Los Protegidos“. Tras su tremendo éxito en Antena 3 la temporada pasada, han comenzado el rodaje de la segunda con el gran aliciente de que están rodando en 3D estereoscópico el primer capítulo de la temporada, y que se estrenara en las salas de cine con éxito asegurado.

Lo que pude ver con mis ojos en el nuevo monitor 3D para rodaje era alucinante!. Cuentan con la tecnología de D4D Ingeniería Visual y con la participación en rodaje de David Urdánoz , uno de los maestros y pioneros de la estereoscopia en Europa, que ademas me dio una clase magistral entre risas y buen humor. Muchas gracias a los dos por la invitación.
