There are moments and places that invite you to create. With no doubt New York is one of them; at least for me, it has some kind of energy that push me to do things. Everything happens faster that in any other place that I have been. I took this photo when I came back to NYC this year, and when I saw it again, I just though about that.

Hay momentos y lugares que te invitan a crear. Sin ninguna duda Nueva York es uno de ellos; al menos para mí tiene una energía especial que me empuja a hacer cosas. Tengo la sensación de que todo sucede mas rápido aquí que en ningún otro lugar en el que haya estado. Hice esta foto cuando volví a NYC este año y justo ahora estaba pensando en esto.

Some months ago, I was lucky to meet Victoriano izquierdo in New York. He is [potentially] a real genius. Outstanding photographer, visionary in social media, and most importantly, a nice and intelligent guy.

The truth is that I had a lot of fun talking with him while he was living in NY, and you just have to take a look in our blog to realize that we used many of the advises that he gave us. Thanks Victoriano!

Hace unos meses (bastantes ya), tuve la fortuna de cruzarme con Victoriano Izquierdo en New York. Es realmente un genio en potencia. Fotógrafo excepcional, visionario en temas de redes sociales, y tío majo y listo sin más.

La verdad es que disfruté mucho de las charlas que tuvimos mientras vivió en la ciudad de los rascacielos, y como queda patente con nuestro blog, hasta le hice caso en muchos de los consejos que nos dio. Gracias niño!

Walking around New York is always an adventure. It is like being on a movie set all the time. I was taking a walk around Tribeca the other day, and I was fascinated to find this corner that was the main office in the movie Ghostbusters.

Caminar por Nueva York es siempre una aventura. Es como estar en un set de rodaje a cada rato. El otro día paseando por Tribeca, quedé fascinado al encontrar en una esquina la puerta de salida de la película Los Cazafantasmas.

Yesterday my Mum’s best wish came true: I was interviewed by Callejeros in the Special Christmas New York Edition. I met Beatriz and Chus, and we had a lot of fun visiting Central Park. Mum you will be very proud of me when you watch it on TV on December 27th.

Ayer hice realidad el sueño de mi madre: hice una entrevista para el programa Callejeros, para su episodio especial de Navidad en Nueva York. Pasé una mañana estupenda con Beatriz y Chus, mostrándoles Central Park. Mamá, estarás muy orgullosa de mí cuando me veas en la tele el 27 de diciembre.

A few days ago, I was quiet at my apartment in New York eating my candy with some friends. Suddenly someone knock to the door. When I opened it, some kids told me “Treat or Trick” and threatened me with throwing eggs if I did not give them my candy, so I had to accept.

The same story repeated again and again during that evening and I still can not understand why did they choose me? Why did they come to take my candy? I did nothing bad to them…

Hace unos días estaba tranquilamente en mi apartamento de Nueva York comiendo chucherías y disfrutando de la compañia de unos amigos cuando de repente alguien llamó a la puerta. Se hizo el silencio en la sala. Cuando abrí, unos niños con huevos en las manos me gritaron “Treat or Trick” y amenazaban con lanzarme una lluvia de huevina si no les daba un buen puñado de chucherías. Acepté a regañadientes.

La historia se repitió una y otra vez durante aquella tarde. Yo temblaba cada vez que llamaban a la puerta y temía que alguno de esos niños tuviera el “gatillo fácil” con los huevos. Por qué me eligieron a mí? Por qué me robaban mis chuches? Yo nos les hice nada malo…

This week I flew to New York to shoot again with my brother a TV pilot with Mikel Urmeneta and Iñaki Arizmendi. It was a lot of fun as you can see on the picture: Helicopters, cheerleaders, aircraft carrier, yachts and wonderful people. I love NY.

Esta semana volé a New York para rodar con mi hermano un piloto para un programa de televisión con Mikel Urmeneta e Iñaki Arizmendi. Lo pasamos fenomenal como se puede ver en la foto: helicópteros, animadoras, portaviones, yates y gente increíble. Me encanta Nueva York.

Last week, Juantxu, our agent was in NYC, and we really had a lot of fun around the city. Juantxu is the founder of Gosua, one of the best actors/directors agencies in Spain. We are really thankful for his support and we feel really confident being represented by him.

La semana pasada Juantxu, nuestro representante estuvo en Nueva York. Disfrutamos mucho su visita. Juantxu es el fundador de Gosua, una de las agencias más potentes de representación de actores y directores en España. La verdad es que estamos encantados con su apoyo y nos encontramos muy cómodos y seguros siendo representados por él.

Yesterday we were seeing the end of the marathon in New York from a terrace of my very good friend Jorge Peralta. His house has the best views of Central Park in the city. Thanks so much, Jorge. Next year I will be running out there!

Ayer estuve viendo el final de la maratón de Nueva York desde la terraza de mi buen amigo Jorge Peralta. Su casa tiene las mejores vistas de Central Park de la ciudad. Gracias mil, Jorge. El año que viene correré la maratón.

When you are 4,000 miles away from home you miss your family a lot. In New York I have a group of close friends that help to relieve that feeling, and with not doubt, Inaki and Hazel are one of the most important in that sense.

Both are working as Creative Directors for the Advertisement Agency Global Works. They are super fun, intelligent and very generous. They became my adoptive family in the US. Many good moments to share. Thanks for everything, guys!

Cuando estás a 6.000 Km de casa, no hay nada que se eche más de menos que a la familia. En Nueva York, hay un grupo de personas que ayudan a aliviar ese sentimiento, y sin duda Iñaki y Hazel son de los más importantes en ese sentido.

Los dos trabajan como directores creativos para la agencia Global Works. Son muy divertidos, inteligentes y tremendamente generosos. Se han convertido en mi familia adoptiva a este lado del Atlántico. Muchos buenos ratos por compartir. Gracias por todo, chicos!
