Rosete Brothers will produce the new short film of Daniel Romero, “Don’t Look There” We’re glad to work again with Romero and we are sure that the project will be amazing!

Los hermanos Rosete produciremos el nuevo cortometraje de Daniel Romero, “No mires ahí“. Estamos encantados de volver a colaborar con Romero y estamos seguros de que el proyecto va a ser increíble!

It has been an amazing week for Voice Over! At award for Best Short Film in Shots, we have received the Best Short Film Award at Torrelavega International Film Festival, all of this in only three days. We love the beautiful trophies!

Esta ha sido una semana increíble para Voice Over; Al Premio al Mejor Cortometraje de Shots añadimos el Premio al mejor cortometraje en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Torrelavega, y todo esto en menos de tres días. Nos encantan estos bonitos trofeos!

Voice Over has been selected to participate in the official selection of Malaga Film Festival, one of the biggest festival in Spain.

Voice Over forma parte de la Sección Oficial del Festival de Cine Español de Málaga, que se celebrará del 21 al 28 de Abril en la ciudad de Málaga.

We are really happy to announce that Voice Over has been selected to participate in the Official Selection of Tribeca Film Festival, one of the biggest in the US.

The film festival founded in 2002 by Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro and Craig Hatkoff in a response to the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the consequent loss of vitality in the TriBeCa neighborhood in Lower Manhattan.

This year, Tribeca Film Fest, will be running from April 18-29.

Estamos encantados de anunciar que Voice Over ha sido seleccionado para participar en la sección oficial del Festival de Tribeca, uno de los más grandes en EEUU.

Este festival de cine fue fundado en 2002 por Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro y Craig Hatkoff, en respuesta a los ataques terroristas del 11-S en el World Trade Center y de esta forma tratar de revitalizar todo el barrio de TriBeCa en Manhattan.

Este año el festival de Tribeca será entre los días 18 al 29 de Abril.

I have to recognize that I’ve never had so much fun shooting as I did in Voice Over. The crew was outstanding and if you see everybody faces in this picture, you can feel that everyone had a real smile on them. There was a lot of respect, professionalism and smiles on that set. I already miss all of you…

Tengo que reconocer que nunca me he divertido tant rodando como lo hice con Voice Over. El equipo que formamos fue increible, y si miras a la cara de la gente puedes sentir sonrisas auténticas de felicidad (no de pose de foto). Hubo un montón de respeto, profesionalidad y sonrisas en el set. Ya os echo de menos a todos…

“Moses” is a feature film documentary directed by Fran Guijarro and Martin Rosete and produced by Kamel Films.

It tells the unbelievable true story of a short film that sparked a life-changing experience for Moses, a 60-year old Afro-American man who was homeless on the streets of San Francisco for more than two decades. We have been recorded him for past four years and now the project is in the post-production stage.

“Moses” is a story about hope and never giving up; about the courage to face life at its roughest. A movie about “you never know what’s around the corner”. Even when you’ve been sleeping on that corner for 20 years.

“Moses” es un largo documental dirigido por Fran Guijarro y Martin Rosete y producido por Kamel Films.

Cuenta la verdadera historia de como un rodaje de un corto cambió la vida de Moses, un vagabundo de San Francisco que ha vivido en las calles de San Francisco durante más de 20 años. Le hemos seguido y rodado en todo este proceso durante 4 años y ahora el proyecto se encuentra en postproducción.

“Moses” es una historia sobre esperanza y sobre no rendirse; sobre el coraje de encarar con una sonrisa la vida, incluso cuando esta te muestra su peor cara. Una historia sobre “nunca sabes lo que te espera a la vuelta de la esquina”, incluso cuando has estado durmiendo en esa esquina durante más de 20 años.

After 11 awards, 100 festivals, a preselection for The Goya Awards, worldwide sales, and much more things… On Thursday, June 30th, at 22:00 hours in the Capitol cinema in Madrid’s Gran Vía, it will be the release of our short film Fearful John. The biggest new is that the short films will be seen … in 3D! Yes, you have heard right! Our short will be screened with another five horror short films in one night in which three-dimensional glasses and scares are the protagonists. Fearful John has undergone a similar process which has been used to transform from 2D to 3D movies as Alice in Wonderland or Clash of the Titans.
This is the first time that a collective projection of short films in 3D is taking place in Spain, you can’t miss it!

Después de 11 premios, 100 festivales, 1 preselección para los premios Goya, ventas internacionales y muchas más cosas… El próximo jueves 30 de Junio a las 22:00 horas, en el cine Capitol de la Gran Vía de Madrid, tendrá lugar el reestreno de nuestro cortometraje Juan con miedo. La gran novedad es que el corto podrá verse… en 3D! ¡Si, como lo oyen! Nuestro corto se proyectará junto a cinco cortometrajes de terror en una noche en la que las gafas tridimensionales y los sustos serán los protagonistas. Juan con miedo se ha sometido a un proceso similar por el que han sido transformadas de 2D a 3D películas como Alicia en el país de las maravillas o Furia de titanes.Es la primera vez que se hace una proyección colectiva de cortometrajes en 3D en España, ¡no podéis perdéroslo!

We just finished the post production of “The Descent“, the last short film of the director and friend Daniel Romero, produced by Kamel Films. As usual, it has been a pleasure working with Dani, the shooting was fun and in color correction we achieved the exact look we were looking for.

I want to thank to the Filmbakers team and especially to Juan Ignacio Cabrera, colorist of the short film. Juan Ignacio is a color master and like a person is even better. He has been correcting color feature films as “A Sad Trumpet Ballad” of Alex de la Iglesia, he is a stereoscopy expert . I’m sure his name will sound very loud internationally very soon.

Quiero agradecer al equipo de Filmbakers y en especial a Juan Ignacio Cabrera, colorista del corto, el trabajo realizado. Juan Ignacio es un maestro y como persona es aun mejor, además de haber corregido color de largometrajes tan importantes como Balada triste de trompeta, de Alex de la Iglesia, es un experto en estereoscopía. Estoy seguro de que su nombre sonará muy fuerte internacionalmente dentro de muy poco.
