Voice Over has been selected to participate in the official selection of Malaga Film Festival, one of the biggest festival in Spain.

Voice Over forma parte de la Sección Oficial del Festival de Cine Español de Málaga, que se celebrará del 21 al 28 de Abril en la ciudad de Málaga.

Voice Over is participating this week at the Medina del Campo Film Festival. Yesterday we enjoyed Voice Over in 35mm with a great atmosphere in the cinema. Medina is one of the biggest  film festivals at the national level and we are very happy to participate in this 25th edition of the festival.

Voice Over esta participando esta semana en el Festival de Cine de Medina del Campo. Ayer pudimos disfrutar Voice Over en 35mm con un gran ambiente en la sala.Medina es uno de los festivales más grandes a nivel nacional y estamos muy contentos de poder participar en esta 25 edición del festival.

We are really happy to announce that Voice Over has been selected to participate in the Official Selection of Tribeca Film Festival, one of the biggest in the US.

The film festival founded in 2002 by Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro and Craig Hatkoff in a response to the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the consequent loss of vitality in the TriBeCa neighborhood in Lower Manhattan.

This year, Tribeca Film Fest, will be running from April 18-29.

Estamos encantados de anunciar que Voice Over ha sido seleccionado para participar en la sección oficial del Festival de Tribeca, uno de los más grandes en EEUU.

Este festival de cine fue fundado en 2002 por Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro y Craig Hatkoff, en respuesta a los ataques terroristas del 11-S en el World Trade Center y de esta forma tratar de revitalizar todo el barrio de TriBeCa en Manhattan.

Este año el festival de Tribeca será entre los días 18 al 29 de Abril.

I want to present the last short film of Alicia Albares. Alicia is a very talented director and her name it’s gonna sound a lot in the coming years. With a screenplay by the same director, “The Other Side” takes us into a fantasy world that mixes old and modern World, a story that invites the spectator and it will not leave indifferent.

It’s been a pleasure to participate in this shooting, I learned a lot and enjoyed a great team. The material is amazing and I’m really proud.. I would like to thank all my team: Marcos, Rober, Carlos, Jose Ángel, Lobato, Dani y Cristina, they worked very hard to help and get better proyect.

In a few week we can enjoy the trailer, and within months we can watch “The Other Side” in a lot of festival around the World.

Os presento el último cortometraje de Alicia Albares. Alicia es una directora con gran talento y un nombre a seguir en los próximos años. Con un guión de la misma directora “Al otro lado” nos sumerge en un mundo de fantasía que mezcla el mundo antiguo y el moderno, una historia que invita al espectador y seguro que no le dejará indiferente.

Ha sido un placer participar en este rodaje, he aprendido mucho y disfrutado de un gran equipo. El material es espectacular y estoy realmente orgulloso. Me gustaría agradecer a mi equipo: Marcos, Rober, Carlos, Jose Ángel, Lobato, Dani y Cristina su gran trabajo y esfuerzo por ayudarme a conseguir lo mejor.

En pocas semanas podemos disfrutar del trailer, y en unos meses podremos ver “Al otro lado” en festivales de todo el mundo.

Last September I got a call from Pablo Menendez from Marvin & Wayne. He told me he had been following the news and development of Voice Over for many months, and even though he did not know anything about the story, only with the credentials of the team, they wanted to propose us to be Associate Distributor. I look for info about them, and I reached to the conclusion that they are the most renown Short Film Distributors in Spain. After that, I could meet Pablo at Gijon International Film Festival, and the impression was even better. I love his enthusiasm, freshness and mostly his instinct to smell a good project. After the Award in Gijon we got more calls and offers, but then we had very clear that Marvin & Wayne are perfect to take care of the distribution of Voice Over. They bet on us and we bet on them, feeling that we will share many great news in the next months.

En septiembre pasado, recibí una llamada de Pablo Menéndez de Marvin & Wayne.  Me dijo que habían estado siguiendo las noticias y el desarrollo de Voice Over desde hacía meses y aunque no sabía nada de la historia, con los credenciales del equipo, nos querían proponer ser distribuidores asociados. Me informé bien sobre ellos, y llegué a la conclusión de que son la distribuidora de cortos en España con mayor proyección. Después, tuve la ocasión de conocer a Pablo en persona en el Festival de Gijón y la impresión fue incluso mejor. Me encanta su entusiasmo, frescura y sobre todo su olfato para pescar un gran proyecto siguiendo su instinto. Después del premio en Gijón llegaron más llamadas y ofertas, pero para entonces ya estabamos convencido que Marvin & Wayne son los dsitribuidores perfectos para Voice Over. Apostaron por nosotros a tiempo y nosotros apostamos por ellos convencidos de que vamos a compartir muchas alegrías en los próximos meses.
